Mantra rendering

Recommended Posts

Hi All ,

I know I can render by just clicking render on my ROP but when ever I do I cannot carry on working with my scene. I was thinking I could maybe like maya , batch render my scene and set the affinity of the render to below normal , so it can just run in the background.I have had a brief look at Hbatch but it seemed to be exactly the same as launching it from the ROP except Hbatch is a command line. Also I noticed the the rop node Batch but I was unsure what context I should use it in. So you guessed it I am a bit confused as to the best approach to take.

On a side note I am so impressed with the export parms ...talk about being in heaven when it comes to render time , all the Maya users are drooling .....:)
