abvfx
look at the apprentice blog. The wet fur tutorial has support files and the guides are controlled by dynamics. By in terms of styling, there isnt alot anywhere. I have yet to see any fur created with Houdini that has a controlled curl, twist, roll or any complex shapes. Look at the ortho fur software, thats how Houdini Fur should be (although to be honest, its not that far off, just needs extra tools to enhance whats already there). abvfx
here ya go Jason, surprised you havent seen this. http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?showtopic=6658 Really is something, and i dont think it would take alot on SESI part to create something similar. Amazing amount of control. I really think that defines a Houdini user from you standard 3d user...we are CONTROL FREAKS .
