MENOZ Posted June 22, 2008 Share Posted June 22, 2008 the point cloud presentation doesn't work on houdini 9.1 http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com...&Itemid=137 and my old houdini 8.1 can't get a licence from sidefx. how can i do? is there a way to see the files in houdini 9.1 ? thank you! Could you be more specific about which example doesn't work? There could be minor changes in a way Houdini works with vex code/shaders or so, but in general all should be fine. Any details?cheers, sy. pcBulletHoles craashes houdini pcCloud seems to work pcComp when i open i have warning message: skipping unrecognized parameter "filter" skipping unrecognized parameter "width" skipping unrecognized parameter "extrapol" skipping unrecognized parameter "interp" pcOcclusion crashes houdini pcWake crashes houdini too these are names of folders in wich i found the hip files can you help me? Yeah, it's been a while since I put this presentation together. Unfortunately I'm kind of busy at the moment, but if I can find the time I'll see if I can re-work some of these hip files I've just checked it. Except pcWave which seems to have a problem with spline VOP, all is fine. Warnings on startup are ok. They appear in most old scenes but aren't problematic.
