Fabiano Berlim
Hi I have a basic head Geometry with Uv made inside Zbrush. I start a vex vop shader and assign a texture to it. In the Scene View i am getting the right result. But when I render something goes very wrong. The head just have a constant red/orange color. It's strange. If I put a mandril.pic, it works. So I tried to convert the image to all sorts of formats. Still nothing!!! I tried to use a basic surface... Still nothing. basicHead.zip I am sending the .hip file, the texture file (jpg), the OGL Render and a Mantra Render. The shader is insider the Head Geo. If someone could help me I will aprecciate a lot!!! I am learning Houdini, so I don't have hurry. Sorry for the english and thanks in advance!!! Symbolic
Have you checked the geometry... sometimes you get overlapping faces or normals problems... shared faces etc...
LEO-oo-
I recommend - unfold the geometry and then export for ZBrush. Please check the ODWiki for more information regarding H/ZB-pipeline. P.S. If you want - send me the obj-file - I will check it. Send me a PM.
sibarrick
ok!!! Fixed... or almost.I convert the image to .pic Does Houdini support any other kind of format? Yes, check in the docs its supports all common formats. .pic and .rat are its own formats and .rat is recommended for all things texture related.
