ofer Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Hi. After I watched the technical rigging series from 3dbuzz, Im trying to rig my robot again. So, I'm working on the leg, and Im using a two-bone chain with IK with Constraints. It basically works, but I have a problem that as I move the end affector around, the chains jumps and flips at certain points. It is probably because of the constraints, but I must use these. The bones are only allowed to rotate around their X axis. I attached a short movie that shows the problem. What can I do about it? edward Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 How does your IK rest pose look like? (ie. under Edit >Objects > IK Rest) You probably want that to be the pose at the maximum constraint with knees bent pointing forward. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
