umallawi
Hi, I've tried with no success the automatic environment map mantra option, without succes... how does it work? The documentation only mention the isixpack utility, but this option seems to be able to automaticaly generate an environment map, like the automatic shadows maps (which works well..)... I searched on the forums, and don't found any information about this feature... Thanks...

Jason
Not a single reply? There is a wiki page CreatingReflectionMaps - which is an H8 run-through. The Auto-Gen Reflection Map should be around for 9.0 in the RenderingParameters too. Please let us know if it works for you. And if so, we'd appreciate an OdWiki update too

Jason
What Jason said, plus this cheers, Abdelkareem Ah yes, thanks Adelkareem! I will add that info to the Wiki. It'd be great if SESI would get around to making some (shelf) Tool to "Generate Reflection Map From Selected" - which would add the relevant parms, and so forth for all these rendering topics. stevenong
Hey anamous, Thanks for the pointer to the SESI forum thread. I was scratching my head yesterday and turning on Phantom for my environment object didn't help the confusion. I'll try to update the OdWiki if I have time later. Cheers! steven
