hatrick Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Hi, I try to get into imagebased modeling for projection in houdini....Is there a good workflowtutorial? I found this http://www.fanux.net/tmp/mbilginer_pr_root/index.html and it was quite helpful but there is no detailed info bout the modeling process... for example how to setup geometry with 3d trackers as reference. etc... i use syntheyes for tracking and import export works quite good. Cmi has some tuts for cinema 4d...in R11 there is a new tool called projectionman ... is there something comparable in houdini I would be greatful for any tip bout this issue multicam setups .... painting methods etc thx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GallenWolf Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 I'm not really sure about a good workflow, but if you take a look at the UVTexture SOP, there is an option to project the UV space from the viewpoint of the camera, that may be something to start you off.
