pxlpshr
Does anyone know if there's a setting somewhere that would prevent a flipbook from jumping back to the start frame after it's been killed? Thanks!
michael
not that I know of... why do you want this? what frame would it go to if not the frame that it was on when the flipbook was run?
Jason
The only option you have is to add a Rendering Parameter to your Mantra ROP called "Ouput Options > MPlay Frame Mode" - but I'm not sure it'll solve your problem... This has the option to "Match Houdini Frame Number" instead of "Append Frames To Sequence".
pxlpshr
Hey Michael. I'm accustomed to working in Maya and while running simulations I'm able to kill a playblast and then go into the perspective view where I can tumble around the objects at the frame where I ended the process. I guess I could just cache the sim, but I was just wondering if there's an option for Mplay that would not reset the current time to the start frame. All in all, it's not a big deal... Thanks. michael
ah, I get it yeah - caching the sim is all you can do in this case....might be a good RFE
