hatrick
hey, I`d like to control the thickness of my lsystem tube along the skeleton path to scale up the radius partially. "W" means width at specific point within lsystems. How i can use that local variable within an expression. heres my testfile metropol_opener_4.hipnc
aracid
hey man take a look at the polywire SOP, theres a widthLUT that has an animated curve on it, that basically gives u a look up to how ur width attribute behaves. so if u change the curve, ull get different shapes. this is done by using the chf expression. i dont think its the most cunning solution, but its controllable hope this helps metropol_opener_4.hipnc
hatrick
thx ! thats an interesting solution... anyhow, a little more control over the structure would be fine. Maybe something similar to the rampsolution with the sweep operator. I read bout that a while ago in this forum. Sweep node
