willlinks
Hi everyone, I'm trying to filter (smooth) animation by comparing current frame position and previous frame (one frame before the current frame) position. Since I'm not familiar with CHOPS, I'm having hard time to figure out how to do that Here is what I want to do with CHOPS. I have points projected on the surface of object and and they are animated on the surface, but some points sometimes move jumpy, not smooth. Therefore I want to -Filter points which moves jumpy from their position in previous frame to current position. -Filter only x and z axises but not y axises. Please help me if anyone knows how to do that P.S. It doesn't have to be CHOPS. Any solution Thanks.

oleg_zv
Did anyone find a solution? Filter works well, but with inconsistent point count, it gives an error of "invalid input sop", even when I'm trying to organize by @id. Is there any other way of filter jittering? Something scalable to million(s) particles. It happens from deformation with ray sop, I love the control and ease of setup, very playful process, the only problem is this jittering. Anyone? jitter.mp4 Edited December 12, 2021 by oleg_zv
