cspears2002
I'm trying to a comp a sign with rotating panels to a still. What do you think of my work so far? I'm concerned that my color correction is not accurate. I think part of my problem is I have been staring at the comp too long! chris_sign_gamma_v04.hipnc sign_test_comp.mov

michael
nice! I'd slow things down a bit - it will give a better sense of scale... good job!
ragupasta
Also inside the comp, make sure you add noise to the rendered elements. This was shot on a DV-type cam by the looks of it, and your billboard looks all shiny shiny.
sam.h
I textured the sign and retimed the animation. I want to add motion blur next. As far as colour correction goes it looks like too much red, I havnen't got a calibrated monitor but relative to the building it looks red. The sign also looks low contrast compared to the building, it doesn't go as black in the creases. Kinda looks like a sharpen filter on your cg would make it sit better. The camera or the lineup looks wrong too... right hand side doesn't lineup. Keep chipping away!

Should I add noise at the SHOP level?
