itriix
hello everyone, i have a rigged, bound and skinned character in maya, and i would like to export it into houdini so that i can animate. i've done this before by exporting it as an fbx, but it's losing it's bindings and the rig and character are not matching up. cannot remember what i did in the past, but something is pointing me towards thinking i exported it as an older fbx... that's just a peice of the process i think. anyone have any thoughts? This has worked well for me in the past, but it depends upon what you need it for. -ranxx hello everyone,i have a rigged, bound and skinned character in maya, and i would like to export it into houdini so that i can animate. i've done this before by exporting it as an fbx, but it's losing it's bindings and the rig and character are not matching up. cannot remember what i did in the past, but something is pointing me towards thinking i exported it as an older fbx... that's just a peice of the process i think. anyone have any thoughts?
