Thalie
I'm trying to make curtains open! I don't know what are the basics of a good cloth simulation! I managed to get a basic curtain, but can't manage to make an animation of it opened! I have modeled a curtain with a grid, a iron bar, and toruses that hold the curtain! What should I add in order to make the toruses control the cloth? Or how would the animated toruses move the cloth as a curtain? Please could anyone clarify things to me? I have attached a file that I started with! It's needs a lot of correction! Please help!! Regards, Thalie

Regards, Thalie Hi Add cloth pins to your cloth and parent those to the toruses, then animate the toruses to control your cloth
sl0throp
Here is a very simple setup that does exactly what he said...pin constraint's tied to torus position. I have animated this opening and closing. s curtain_v01.hipnc
