few_a_fx
Can anyone give me any suggestions on the best way to start creating an ink shade?. I've only used vex once to create an xray shader, so I tried starting out the same way, but that didn't work. Any suggestions work be extremely helpful. Here's a link for the look I'm trying to achieve. http://www.pond5.com/stock-footage/304626/blue-ink-white1.html http://www.pond5.com/stock-footage/304633/blue-ink-white2.html
mrice
One way could be to render points and use the simplest of shaders, just a color with a low brightness value and a low opacity. The values will be dependent on the number of points. The trick is to render LOTS of points. Mark Story's clusterthis procedural can help with that! few_a_fx
Thanks for the link mrice, I'll check it out. Will cluster this work with particles or volumes?. Any other suggestion on how to create this ink shader?
