I want to setup a project based on the tcl kind of commands

I have characters defined and I want to renderout the files based on the character name

so please tell me how do i call the node name...

In nuke I find it as

[value name] will print the name of the node so how do i know the conventions in houdini? Is tcl supported in H?

but pls tell me about this printing the name of the root node and the current node.. it will help me alot...

Im trying to make all these into one single node and couple of commands to make the artists life easier...

I tried using the command that you have said...

RELATED

* opfullpath

* opsubpath

* oprelativepath

I got this but no idea what to do for this... but in tcl it was looking pretty easier... can u pls tell me how to go further...
