Farsheed Ashouri
Hi folks. First I need to know is it possible to bake an object sequence to single one? ( like keyframing vertexes or something else ) And If the answer is yes, could anyone please help me to develop a little ( or Big!!! ) tool for this purpose? For sample data, I prepare a simple 24 frame sequence. test_sequence.tar.gz Thank you in advanced.
sanostol
Easiest way would be chops, load the animated geometry into chops and lock the read node. then transfere it to sop again. but if You need a export to another software, I would use mdd files. there are plugins for maya, and xsi has a build in version Hi folks. I think i have solved the problem using tail sop, (witch add motion blur to the sequence) Thanks again for your help. EDIT: Wow Edward, your post changed my life. with .mdd format, now i load my scenes 10 times faster. Cheers. edward
FYI, Houdini 10.0.424 had a fix which allow .mdd file sizes in the 2-4 GB range to be read. The limit of of 4 GB .mdd file sizes will be addressed in the next major release of Houdini.
