blackchicken
hello i have problem with reflection antialiasing, micropolygonal render, more samples dont work for me... look at the picture, standart chrome, old good debevec hdri UZIFI. If I turn off reflection, antialiasing is good on 4*4 samples. I try 10*10 but reflection is still bad. Is there something I miss in render settings? I try other filters but no change. Thanks a lot BC.
DaJuice
Hit 'i' in mplay to bring up the inspect tool and check the rgb values for the affected areas. If they are really bright you may need to add the Color Limit parameter to mantra and decrease the value.
blackchicken
Great, only thing, colour limit in mantra, do you mean mantra/output/white point? That will dark all but it works. I darken white areas on map and all is ok. Thanks a lot BC
eetu
Great, only thing, colour limit in mantra, do you mean ... Mantra ROP -> Gear -> Edit Rendering Parameters -> Mantra 10.0 -> Render -> Color Limit (vm_colorlimit) Drag this to add it to your Mantra ROP parameters in the middle of the window. Set the value of the parameter to something a bit over 1. eetu.

blackchicken
Hello again Im trying to add parameter to mantra render node, color limit, but default value is 1024. Eetu write that value little bit more than one helps. I now render some liquid tests with some HDRi and I have same problerm with bright pixels in reflection. I try a lot of different values (.001,.01,10,100,4000), but almost no changes. DoI something wrong?
