Marc
Are you looking for best modeling techniques for that kind of thing? Could you post the miages you have? It might make it easier. There are quite a few different techniques when it comes to modeling something, and depending on what you're doing will dictate what you use. Personally when it comes to modeling characters I'm a big fan of the box modeling technique. ie start with a box and add cuts and edits to it to shape it into what you want. There's some very good information and videos here : spiraloid forums spiraloid And tons of tutorials here : lightwave tutorials All are easily translated into Houdini methods. Cheers Marc
zule
Hi Marc, Sorry for the delay in reply. Below is a link that will take you to the king of image I would like to create with Houdini..oh and thanks once again for the useful links on modelling magicmakers.com P.S. There won't be any silly POp-up ad once you click, I made sure to choose a more respectable sight on this subject
jjstanley
I agree with Marc, I like box modeling. Check out this Tutorial, http://www.fineart.sk/tut/Joan/Joanindex.htm. It is not Houdini but the principles still apply. Let us know how it comes along.
