athomas
I'm trying to animate the TZ value of an Point SOP via CHOPs, but its animating the whole geometry rather then applying my CHOP to each point. Is there a way to do this? If not how can I pipe my CHOP into VOPs and the result into the TZ value of my Point SOP? Any help greatly appreciated. Lukich
Do you use export chop or channel sop to affect the geometry?
edward
There's many ways to do this. If you're animating the TZ value, then the question do you want each point's TZ value to be animated differently? Anyhow attached is one way. anim_points.zip
athomas
Thanks for the reply, this is somewhat what I'm looking for. I do want to animate the tz value for each point differently driven via CHOPs, but I have to be able to get the CHOP data into my point SOP, there is more going on in there. At the moment I have an expression driving the tz value in my point sop, but I'd like to make it more user friendly for the animator giving them control over the animation with sliders driven by CHOPs Cheers Andre
