achi
Now I'm just curious, I've just ported over from Maya, and I'm having a difficult time keeping up w/ the way you move around in the viewports. Is there a way I can switch the middle and right mouse buttons to function the way they do in Maya? All that needs to be done really is flip flop the two. Or should I do this w/in windows mouse properties?
cyclinggimpe
In order to be able to use my wheel button as a middle button in houdini, I had to set this in the Mouse properties not within houdini. Maybe you need to also.
ksmith
Don't quite know how you'd do it, probably mouse prefs, but if I were you I'd seriously consider going the other way around, set your Maya mouse prefs to Houdini's. I mean, c'mon alt lft middle to zoom? It's almost prehistoric, and how the hell are you going to hold your coffee cup in your left hand while you work? Jason
You can also set the viewport tumbling to be similar to Maya's - with Y up always. I think it's called"80's style Euler tumbling" in the Edit>Preferences.
