primitive color visibility in the viewport

hi guys : i've a viewport question for you today.

I've a network with some color nodes in primitive mode. Everything is fine at this level, i see all my differents colors in the viewport, and i'm the most happy man in the world.

Now, i collapse everything in a subnet to do an asset. My colors still working in render but i've no color feedback in the viewport.Any idea how to tweak this ?

I'm struggling to replicate the problem, any chance you can post a hip file?

hey tony, thanks for your time.

i've the same problem this morning, i'vr try to replicate this stuff in a clean scene...and no problem. (i 'm stupid it was the first thing to do)

(you need to install a otl watch otl folder in the zip file)

I think all you need to do is promote the colour attribute of OUT_PAPER from being a point attribute to a primitive attribute to match OUT_gateau_complet and OUT_creme. Here is your scene but with the attribute promote in:

muffin4_Altered.hipnc

Hopefully this is what you are after.

i was thinking that all my color node was on primitive mode.

I need to learn to double check my work before posting.... :lol:
