CSN0309 Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 Hi~guys I got an assignment from my instructor, to make a lot of birds fly at the same time with different behavior. I have used CHOP network to drive the motion of bird(one bird), but i got an unwanted effect when i copy this bird to POP network, they are all fly on the same behavior. anim Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 to offset animation you can use Shift CHOP and copystamp some random number based on particle id here is modified file with Shift CHOP used stamped random number from -1 to 1 then scaled by 100 in Shift CHOP (frame mode) so it offsets bird animations from -100 to 100 frames you can enhance this by using Stretch CHOP in similar way to vary animation speed for individual birds you forgot to attach bird geo or lock the file node so i made a proxy one BIRD_fix.hipnc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
