Mixing coloured fluids issue - (Digital Tutors)

Recommended Posts

Howdy,

So I finally got round to getting the Digital Tutors course on Houdini fluids (mixing the 2 coloured emitters in the glass jar), and have loved it so far!

I've gone through step by step alongside the tutorials and everything is perfect, that is, until I come to render.

When I render out the finished scene, the 2 fluid emitters are a soft lilac, as opposed to blue and yellow, mixing to green in the jar.

It all works perfectly in the viewer on all levels, I just can't see what I'm doing wrong to bypass the colours once rendered

Any ideas?

I've attached the save file if that's of any interest to anyone :)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Chaz

You have done something weird in particle_fluid.

Check out the gas_diffuse.hip file in on how to set stuff up correctly.
