flowers with l-system

For my vase WIP I want to put some nice flowers and I find it interesting to do it with l-systems. Actually Im going through the cmiVFX training series on that topic to dive in that material.

Maybe some of you guys have other good resources ?

I'm working with l-systems now to do lightning and would be interested in see how your do flowers.

Are you going to animate the flowers growing or just render a still image? If your going to animate them, then look at how gravity is used by the lsystem and you might want to animate the flowers opening.
