brain Posted September 10, 2003 Share Posted September 10, 2003 Hi, I want to destroy a wall and want the particles to start in the middle of the wall and then birth towards the outside (hope you understand what I mean). But I have no clue how to tell the particles to start the "birthing" at the middle (red point in the image) of the wall. Any hints for me? michael Posted September 10, 2003 Share Posted September 10, 2003 use a sort SOP on the wall and choose (in either the points or prims tab - depending on how you're birthing your particles) Proximity to Point. then you can tell it the location with the xyz fields (or reference a channel etc) remember - in your particle system not to birth particles randomly or the above will be for nothing hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
