Ezz Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Hi all. I am planning to do a personal project involving a small pond with a few trees and stones etc. with the RippleSolver-Dop. But I am a bit confused on the workflow to make the stones etc. interact with the "water" So I was hoping that I could get a hint on how to set it up. zdimaria Posted November 6, 2011 Share Posted November 6, 2011 There is already an example of this in the Ripple Solver documentation. .../examples/nodes/dop/ripplesolver/RippleGrid.otl This example demonstrates how to use the Ripple Solver and Ripple Object nodes. Bulge SOPs are used to deform a grid to create initial geometry and rest geometry for the Ripple Object which is then piped into the Ripple Solver.
