DELTAadmin
I have completed the houdini tutorials, and found that I can not grow Lsystem geometry within a volume could anyone post a good hip file and some description how to do it? Stremik
You have to use in(x,y,z) function to test the in-bounds. There is a very detailed explanation of this method in "Geometry.pdf" file. Chapter "Pruned Growth". Cheers.
michael
yep - the geometry PDF has a great section on growing geometry inside (or outside) a volume - note: the volume must be defined with metaballs, also the pruning will not work if your l-system sting has more than 30 nested branches. DELTAadmin
I have completed all the tuts and exercises in the docs u mentioned, and the last one did not come out as expected. Meanwhile I have found the error. The error is in the tutorial picture which connects the volume into the first input of the Lsystem operator instead of the correct one that is the last input the m input. When I interchanged these everything'd worked right. Thanx
