dynamoanders
Gaah, I´m going mad... I´ve tried for two days getting the faces (polygons) to get animation by an expression, but I have not succeeded yet. I want each group (polygon) to have a different animation to it, controlling it by an expression. Similar to a "$FF * $PT". Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried searching in the help, on odforce and sidefx forums, gaah, it should be simple, but I just can´t get it. //Anders faces_animation_v01.hipnc
rafaelfs
Hi, Take a look at the attached file. The $PR variable expands to each primitive by their own intrinsic ID (like point numbers) The Primitive SOP then sets the transform attributes per primitive. rafaelfs
Aaah, that´s exactly what I wanted to do! Thank you rafaels! there's some cool tricks you can learn here: http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1500&Itemid=132 And check the Primitive SOP help files for a bonus (i'm not telling much, but has something to do with the second input... ). cheers
eetu
You could also check out this hip file for some per-primitive animation setups,
