exarhos2003
quick question, how can I save to disk geometry animation in the apprentice version. It does not have the geometry output in ROPs. is there another way? thanks, christopher
mark
hi christopher, sorry if you know this already but in case you dont - in apprentice you can right-click the last SOP in the network, and export geometry to bgeo, OBJ etc. - i havent tried multiple frames though. tallkien
in a textport cd to the object you want to save out and opsave -v -f [start] [end] -i [inc] outSop outFile\$F.[ext] where [ext] is the format you want to save .bgeo, .obj, etc
exarhos2003
thanks, going thru the textport will work. right clicking is only for one frame, but there is probably a way to enter en expression. may try that later. happy T-day, christopher
