rdg
any ideas? Afaik there's not datamoshingCOP in Houdini, but if you write one I'd download it The first link describes pretty accurately how the aesthetics were achieved. Rosa Menkman's 'Vernacular of File Formats'[1] might be a good reference. I still got the glitchCOP on my list ... but I'm not sure if a procedural and hence reproducible glitch is what I want. You could look at Kim Assendorf's 'Extra File' Format [2]. There's also Monglot [3][4] [1] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9054743/lofi%20Rosa%20Menkman%20-%20A%20Vernacular%20of%20File%20Formats.pdf [2] http://www.creativeapplications.net/mac/extrafile-file-formats-mac/ [3] http://rosa-menkman.blogspot.co.nz/2011/01/monglot.html [4] http://gitorious.org/monglot
edward
Sounds like something that could done with optical flow, which COPs doesn't have. You can always try to generate one using CuviLab (free non-commercial use), or OpenCV and then import into COPs. Or, you could just do it in a compositor which can generate optical flow (eg. Nuke).
