tuangD
hi guys, Just want to ask how can we create a collision event of an object to another object or objects. Through chops, sops, or anything... thanks -tuang
TheUsualAlex
Hey Tuang. The collision event is generated by particles. if you check on the geometry spreadsheet in your POPs editor, you should see a field which has Collision information. (If you have Collision POP, that is) The Particle SOP does it as well, but I think you'd have a better control of the collision in POP. Depend on your need, tho. danteA
Might also want to look into using the RBD system which involves some OBJ, POP, CHOP

Tyfx567
There is impact data node that can be laid down in dops but I think it automatically has it generating impact data by default.
