hanton
Hi, all After I successfully builded HOT in my Mac (OS X10.8.2 and Houdini 12.1.77), I loaded the examples into my Houdini. When I opened those sop_*.hip files, it's ok. But when I opened those vopsop_*.hip files, Houdini told me "/vex/displace1/HOT_Ocean_Eval1" using incomplete asset definition (full definition not found). What has happened to my "HOT_Ocean_Eval1"? I remembered my console told me "Finished installing, go make waves." Thanks error.tiff
Anders Heilemann
Did you figure out the reason to this? I'm getting the same on Ubuntu 12.04 with Houdini 12.1.125. In VEX and VOP the node says "This node is using an incomplete asset definition". They still seem to work fine for me though.
Pierre
Got the same problem (Linux CentOS 6.3). I just found out that there is a HOT.otl file in the source code folder that doesn't get copied to your Houdini/otls folder; you need to do it yourself
panupat
I keep getting this error on windows. The otls was already copied over.
