Mzigaib
Hi, I am trying to follow my render progress through the render log inside Houdini but it seems that now you just can see it through the Performance Monitor, which is great, and not through the console anymore, am I wrong? I am in windows by the way, the problem is the I can't see the progress in real time I just can see the current log after I kill the render. Anyone else is having this problem? or is there another way to see the render progress log in real time inside Houdini? Thanks.

edward
use "mantra -Va1" as your render command instead of just "mantra"
Mzigaib
I'll try that, thanks for the feedback!
Mzigaib
It shows me some feedback like when it finishes the shadow map creation but not in real time the same for the progress it doesn't show it unless it's complete or when I kill it. Can you see it differently?

Hello world
new tab-performance monitor and record. gives the results of the time it takes to cook for each node. is that the one you are talking about?
Mzigaib
No, I am looking for a progress log for the current render, if you render via hbtach and set the the flag to -Va1 you are going to see the render progress and the log for the render in the shell I want to see it inside houdini. Does it make sense? Edited November 30, 2012 by Mzigaib
