Shaping Natural Fluid. Isolating Particles

As you may notice I'm a beginner user of Houdini.

I'm working in a fluid system to write a word with water. I'm filling a cast to shape the fluid but I would like to give the edges some extra fluid emission to make it look more natural, the edge of the fluid is limited by the collision geometry and that's not working ok.

1. Maybe someone out there has a better idea to solve this scenario. Maybe I'm not able to solve it in a more complex way by now but I want to learn.

2. To solve it I'm trying to emit and extra FlipFluid from the simulation I already have but I would like to know how to isolate the fastes particles from my initial simulation so I can emit a new fluid simulation from the isolated group.

The project as I have it is attaches with an image of the result we are looking for.

Thanx in advance.
