I mean, under flames tab, there is a Cooling Field Rand and under shape and dissipation there is control Range. anim Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 the ramp parameters expect their input to be in range 0-1 so the Control Field needs to be first remapped from some range to 0-1 and Control Range parameter defines that source range so in case of 0-2 it means that if the source sample has value 0 result will be value from start of the ramp if 2 from end of the ramp, any values between 0-2 will result in corresponding value from the ramp curve.
