leo3d Posted February 8, 2004 Share Posted February 8, 2004 near/far clipping plane problem in top view ,i can't see full obj or obj's transform handle , i changed the near/far clipping plane in display option, i already changed near clipping min value and far clipping very large value,but i still can't see full transform handle ,why? michael Posted February 9, 2004 Share Posted February 9, 2004 not sure why you're having these problems... what I always do is hit Space+h in the viewport - this will home the scene and reset the clipping planes...then Space+g to frame whatever I have selected this always clears up my clipping problems hth Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Marc Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 For future reference, hitting the 'home' key won't reset your near clipping plane, only the far one. This was put in because if you're modeling on something with fine detail and hit home all the time then it becomes annoying to keep changing the near clipping plane back to 0.001.
