moondeer
i cannot figure out how to control this deformation. i imagine it is a simple bias setting, but i've had no luck. the mesh in the bicep is not following the motion fully. hip attached. any suggestions would be appreciated. hip_and_geo.zip Edited March 2, 2013 by moondeer
moondeer
Is it really as simple as adjusting the muscle controls, upper arm translate? Or is this a bit jury-rigged of a solution...
moondeer
SOLVED: if the biped is rigged when sized to lifesize (aprox 2 meters) then auto rigged, the bicep will deform. If the biped is sized to match scale of rig instead, then bicep will NOT deform. if rig scale is 1.0, then the muscle system operates as expected. (muscle based not bones based). if you intend to use houdini's cloth system, which wants physically correct scales, then the very large character scale could be a problem. hope this helps someone in the future.
