Skybar
Hello! I'm studying 3D graphics (mainly Maya) in Sweden, and in our latest schoolproject we got to decide for ourselves what we wanted to do. Me and my buddy Hudson decided to learn Houdini. And what a blast it's been, I think I've fallen in love with this piece of software. So, I started out with a waterfall that is based on the tutorial from SESI: https://vimeo.com/64757501 And I saw someone who made some fruits splashing into water, I think here on odforce, which I wanted to re-create for myself: https://vimeo.com/64757502 And then a short fire-ish thing, mainly created as an outro to our presentation of the project: There are problems with all three of these, which you probably will notice. Still, I'm quite proud to accomplish anything at all - just two months ago I knew nothing at all about Houdini, and I guess I even was a bit afraid of it. Thats all changed now though! I've learned lots from this forum, and for that I am grateful! I won't leave anytime soon, I'm learning tons every day Thank you!
