venator11387
Hello all, I started using the up-res container workflow and I am learning it as best as I can. I understand it for the most part (thanks to prior experience from an upres plug in for Maya), but one thing I am trying to understand is how to render the up-res'd fluid. The fluid from the "import_uprespyro" through "import_pyro_visualization" shows up but it does not show up in the render view. I've attached a stripped down version of my scene to show the workflow. upresScene.zip
luke046
Hi Vincent, Hm I would have rebuild a simple sim again because it should work like that, create a pyro sim then upres from shelf. Check the fields with a volume visualization and then make sure the upres node is getting rendered from your rop. If low density try playing with gamma and brightness in render view till you see it. Hope any of that helps, have a nice day.
Skybar
You've turned off 'Emit Smoke', so I guess the density field is empty (?) - but it still exists so the renderer/shader is using that, but since there is nothing there nothing is shown. It works if you turn on 'Emit Smoke' again, or if you simply turn off the import of density in the Dop I/O-node.
