Mac.0
hi folks, at the moment I am planing to create an organism with tentacles (or branches) that spreads through a room and interacts with the room geometry. Actually I only took a fast look at the L-System and it look very good for the kind of movement I want. But I did not find a possibility to interact/collide with a ground/wall geometry. Now my question is if it is possible or is there another technique to get this kind of result? greetings
kleer001
Maybe try springs?
pclaes
You should grow your own branches with particles. - Or with points in a sopsolver as then you can do smarter flocking/avoidance/reconnection type of behavior with pointclouds. basic example: more branches: You can ask Ian (Solitude) or Sergey (vi_rus) for some advice or do an advanced search on this forum with their usernames, they might have posted some files for it too.
