daehuck
Hi, guys I'm trying to crash the helicopter in houdini with voronoi fracture nodes. But... I have some issue Please Check below image Yeah it's all I made helicopter from maya and combine all models and import through the houdini. and give a cluster attributes to the points to constrain other pieces But like a image there are some parts seperated where i don't want to Is there any solutions or forums like this? Any comments will be good for me:) And also added my hipfile and modeling source. tail_fracture.zip Edited October 6, 2013 by daehuck
JuriBryan
The voronoi fracture nodes work partly by checking connectivity between primitives. And since those pieces are not really part of the geo, not connected with vertices, they show up as different pieces. In your case it should be no problem. Use a glue network to control the fracturing and set the strength to -1 on the parts that you don't want to fall of. (you could set it just to a very high value so that when the impact is to strong or it hits just on those parts they will fall off, basically adding more free detail to your scene) Cheers, Juri
mangi
Hi daehuck I took a look into the hip & made a modification on the voronoifracture node. In the snap shop . here is the hip with the change . Hope this is what you are looking for. I should use a glue network !
