Follyx
Hi, is there a clear thread for using different kind of meshes, i.e. primitive, polygon, nurbs, mesh etc, in specific/different situations? Thanks in advance Edited October 13, 2013 by Follyx
sanostol
nurbs and mesh are parametric, they are clearly defined, for example You can carve a nurbs/mesh, but You If You carve a polygonobject every polygon is carved individually. Nurbes and meshes have a uvspace for free, it is not stored on the geometry but if You need it You can get it, even if the geometry is heavily deformed. that does not work on polygons
Follyx
I see, the same approach as in other 3D packages as well. Thank you
