amination
Hello! I was wondering if there is an efficient way to transfer a generated map via point color onto another geometry. For instance in the hip file I've uploaded here I've generated an edge-map, and I need to transfer the map I created on the Foreach_center SOP. Thanks! mapTransfer.hipnc

amination
AttribTransfer was my first thought too, but I was hoping to get more detail border edges to be transferred. Is there a way just to transfer the color output into same geometry without extra divisions?
Owl
you have to: 1) divide your geo 2) use point clouds 3) bake attribute into texture map chose one
amination
That's exactly what I was looking for! But could you please elaborate on baking attribute in texture map? Thanks a lot! Owl
This should be a good place to start, but if you have any questions - don't be shy to ask http://www.orbolt.com/asset/SideFX::texturebaker http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?/topic/14077-baking-to-texture/ http://www.papicrunch.net/GC-houdb/?collec=0&filter=gcsfield4%3D%3DSHOP&sort=idDSC&model=item&item=213
