wick3dParticle
I was curious if anyone has successfully created a tearable cloth using the finite element solver in the apprentice. It works fine when creating solid fractures, but in a cloth object, there is no fracture checkbox. The docs say that you can create fracture prim and point attributes in the cloth object's help card, but no luck for me there Any ideas? wick3dParticle
Thanks Guys. Kim - I tried plugging in an empty dop object and pointing to the geo I wanted to tear in the cloth configure. I set up fracturing, but it appears that there is just no integration for tearing cloth in the finite element solver. bandini
No integration at the moment. I set up my own tearable cloth solver setup. You can get it from this forum post. http://forums.odforce.net/topic/19579-tearable-cloth-h13-wip/
