rurik
Hello I'm using an AttributeFromMap SOP to tint my points based on a picture. I then want to render this without any specular...I assume I need to bring the Cd values into my Shop network and pass those to a SurfaceModel somehow? Thanks! rurik
Well, I found a workaround which to, in H13, add a light, add the reflection contribution, and disable it...Seems like a bit of a hack, but works!
Skybar
I dont know if I quite understand, couldnt you just use a Mantra Surface material and "use point color" on the diffuse, and disable speculars/reflections?
acey195
When I do this, I just use an ambient light and no other lights, (intensity set to 1 and color to pure white) that way the rendered color will be the flat vertex/point/primitive color. foam
You can use the constant shader, no lights needed.
