Why does importing a volume from a dopnet use non-matching volume reso

Hi,

 

I am trying to import the velocity field from dops into sops, but when I do so, the resolution doesn't match. It doesn't even match between the components.

 

All I do is this:

 

1. Create a sphere.

2. Use Billowy Smoke from the Shelf.

3. Inside import subnet, on the import_pyro_visualization node, set Geometry Data Path to vel.

4. Go to frame 14.

5. And compare the resolution of both volumes using the MMB.

 

dopnet shows [26, 29, 28]

 

import_pyro_visualization node shows this:

 

 

How can I make sure that I am getting the exact volume from the dopnet?

because velocity volumes are Face sampled in pyro by default

to make them exact as density just go to your smoke object/Initial Data/Velocity Sampling and set it to Center
