Help with recreating a beautiful comet tail.

Hi everyone! I'm in my final year at school learning Houdini right now, and I'm trying to recreate this comet. I tried various different ways of trying to achieve this look, but I am stumped and out of ideas.

So far, I have a curve with animated noise that emits particles in the shape of the comet. Please let me know how to achieve this look, preferably not using pyro or anything big like that. I attached a file for anyone to take a look at. Thank you and I appreciate it!

I think for this type of look you need to have millions of particles. You can then create the 'width' attribute and render them as points with a transparent 'mantra surface shader'. Not sure of this will work but worth a shot?
