Lukich
this problem have persisted through the last several versions of houdidni. you render something in mplay and if you kill mplay, the houdini doesn't come back up. the only way to fix it is to go to task manager and kill mplay process. and with 6.5 it doesn't always do it, for some reason. Is it my nardware configuration or a common problem?
michael
I've had the problem of doing a flipbook > the images start to load in and I try to close mplay...everything just locks up untill I kill mplay...
mark
you may be able to kill the mantra process not houdini itself, it has worked for me in the past..
Lukich
Right, that's what I end up doing. And if it's iPlay, I also have to kill another process called idialog. It works 95% of the time. I actually messed up because I wanted to submit that into the suggestions category hoping that it'll get fixed in the next cuts of Houdini
