neom314
Hello,i wonder if there is any basic tutorial, on how to achive this type or rendering, which i guess is a volumetric rendering "krakatoa" style...https://vimeo.com/57182252i saw some of them online, but i will be interested in understanding a bit more better what to do to make those scenes which looks simple anyway.thank you
symek
Afaik it's pure particles, just plenty of them. No volumetrics.
neom314
would you mind elaborate further? how do you render particles in this way?
rafaelfs
Try it out, by default they render as spheres, just create an attribute $PSCALE to set the size of the particles, apply a shader and render!
Skybar
If you build a shader with Lighting Model VOP and set the Light Model to "Isotropic Volume", you kinda get krakatoa style. This probably don't use that though. Edited February 11, 2014 by Skybar
