Houdini Engine wont work...

Hi,

.

installed the latest version. The first point is that in maya 2014 the plugin dont appear automatically. If I point to the install directory manually ("C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\Houdini 13.0.314\engine\maya\maya2014\plug-ins") it wont load: "// Error: file: C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2014/scripts/others/pluginWin.mel line 658: The  Modul wasnt found  (houdiniEngine) //

Also if I try to integrate it diretcly into the install directory....

Hopefully someone can help me...

I could suggest that you could rebuild the preferences of the maya & houdini by deleting:

C:\Users\"YOURS"\Documents\houdini13.0

C:\Users\"YOURS"\Documents\maya.

 

because it works okay on this side.

thanks for the immediately reply. Unfortunately the tip also wont work....

 

reinstalled houdini. now it works. thx a lot
